• Unite yourself to Jesus
  • Invest in a deeper habit of daily prayer through Hallow's Pray25 Challenge, the Waiting Well Advent Study, and/or the Word Among Us daily reflections.
  • Visit Jesus in the Eucharist during your seasonal errands. There are resources located in our adoration chapel to guide you in your time with the Lord.
• Serve the poor
  • Find some way to serve the poor this Advent, and visit the Blessed Sacrament before coming home to pray for those you served. Our community serves in many capacities, including St. Mary's Food Kitchen, Foster Care Communities, and in numerous ways around the Parish. 
• Confess and receive the forgiveness offered by the Eucharist
  • Bring your entire family to our communal penance service Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. 
• Love more, starting at home
  • Give in charity to your family by doing a good deed for someone you love without need for acknowledgement.

Advent Formation Series:ENTERING THE MYSTERY OF THE INCARNATION

Each member of the Holy Family reveals an incarnational reality to the coming of Emmanuel.

Four-Part Series: Digital Intro + Three In-Person Nights

Purpose: To guide participants through the theological, spiritual, and practical dimensions of Advent, focusing on the Incarnation through the lens of God’s chosen instruments: Mary, Joseph, and Jesus Himself.

Format:

• Digital Intro Session (coming week of Thanksgiving) -- at home or online

• Night 1: St. Joseph — Model of Advent Readiness & Spiritual Fatherhood

• Night 2: Mary — Motherhood Revealed Through the Incarnation

• Night 3: Jesus — The Word Made Flesh

Each night will include a teaching, discussion/reflection, guided meditation and weekly challenges to activate the formation.

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception Mass Holy Day of Obligation

While the Feast of the Immaculate Conception falls during Advent, this Catholic holy day and its teaching refer to Mary’s conception, not that of Christ. We celebrate this feast of Our Lady on December 8.  

Breakfast with Santa

Bring your Baby Jesus figurines to be blessed and join Santa for a photo and breakfast after Mass.

Communal Penance  

Communal prayer followed by individual reconciliation. Many priests will be on hand to hear confessions.
