We are going to SEEK27 in San Antonio! This conference is not only for college students or those of you who are support this mission of FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). There are 2 locations where SEEK27 will be happening in parallel this year, and we are going to San Antonio. Flights in January to Texas give us the most flexibility, as well as the majority of our college students who will attend the conference will be at this location. 

The conference will be held January 1-5, 2027, and will include world-class Catholic speakers and teachers, the celebration of the Mass alongside thousands of people, young and old, opportunities for adoration and confession, fellowship and networking opportunities amongst other Catholics who want to serve Jesus and the Church, and plenty of entertainment.

The Making Missionary Disciples track will also feature workshops and small groups tailored specifically to teach parishioners how to steadily grow in their faith, share the gospel, and effectively lead and accompany others as missionary disciples.

Be encouraged in mission by gathering with others who have a heart for those not yet living a life of discipleship.

Register to get your SEEK27 Event Pass is a 5-day Pass; you’re registered for the entire SEEK27 event, start to finish. Early registration ends on October 30; prices will increase from $575 to $625. Travel and hotels are not included in the cost.

After you register and have confirmed your travel accommodations, please provide us with some key information so that we can meet up as a parish during the event and help coordinate logistics with fellow parishioners. Fill out the INFO FORM below.

The Making Missionary Disciples Track offers inspiring vision from the heart of the Church for how to share Christ and the Catholic Faith with your family, at your parish, and throughout your daily life. The Making Missionary Disciples Training workshops teach simple evangelization skills, then allows you to put these faith-sharing skills into practice within a small group.

Both easily integrate into your morning SEEK schedule, are no additional cost, and are open to all parishioners, seminarians, parish priests, and anyone desiring to share the truth and mercy of Christ with others. 

In every age, it can seem like the church is on her last breath. Today is no different. 

Think of Good Friday. 

From the outside, it looked like the end. But in reality, God was at work, hidden, faithful, unstoppable. Later on in the early church, when Christians are being thrown to the lions, God raised up saints like Ignatius of Antioch and Polycarp, whose sacrifice strengthened the entire flock. 

When the church was wounded by scandal in the Middle Ages, He called Dominic and Francis and Clare, whose faith in radical poverty reminded the Church of the heart of the gospel. Most recently in the 20th century when war and atheistic regimes seem to blot out the faith. God gave us Maximillian Kolbe, John Paul II, priest of Kolkata, because every age has its Good Friday. Every age has its moments when people say this is the time the Church is finished, the story is over. 

And every time Jesus raises up his body again. Every time the Holy Spirit breathes new life where we thought that there was only death. And that's how saints rise up. Movements begin, holiness spreads. Because in every age, God calls ordinary people to extraordinary faith. And he can use anyone. 

There was a man who resisted God's call again and again. We know that man today as St. Augustine. And when he had finally embraced the gospel, he penned these words. 
He said, " Late have I loved you, oh beauty, ever ancient, ever new"

That's what God's love is. It's as ancient as the first breath he gave Adam, it's as new as the breath filling your lungs right now. Every heartbeat in your chest, every inhale in your lungs, you're the living continuation of the greatest story ever told, God has chosen you for this moment. 

Because when it seems like the Church is on her last breath, when it seems like the story is over, that's when God shows the world that the Church is most alive. 

What began long ago is breaking into our lives today. Ever ancient, ever new.
