The St. Nicholas Choir is a liturgical choir for singers in grades 1-3. Traditionally, the choir has rehearsed after school for several weeks prior to Christmas and to Mother's Day, the two occasions the choir has sung for Mass.
NOTE: St. Nicholas Choir will be on hiatus for the 2025-2026 due to space and staff limitations related to the once-in-history installation of our new organ. Watch for new programming and opportunities for children this age in the Spring.The St. Michael Choristers is our liturgical choir for singers in grades 4-8, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Vogt. Musically advanced and mature 3rd graders may be allowed to participate with permission of the directors. Membership is ordinarily limited to 24 singers. Priority to is given to those who are able to make a stable and regular commitment.
Our choristers receive a comprehensive musical, liturgical, and spiritual training. This training prepares them to sing at the 10:30 am Mass once or twice each month from October through May. In addition, the St. Michael Choristers sing at the 4:00 pm Mass on Christmas Eve and the 10:30 am Mass on Mother's Day.
Choristers rehearse before school three (3) mornings a week (T, W, F) during the school year from 7:15 to 7:50 am.
