“Christ Renews His Parish” offers an opportunity to say "yes" to a closer and deeper relationship with God. Through this Christ Renews His Parish process of renewal, you will experience “church”, experience “being church” and finally, experience “being church for others”

We encourage the adult men and women of St. Michael the Archangel Parish who are seeking to grow more deeply in their relationship with Christ to consider this special weekend of spiritual renewal. Come to enjoy fellowship, explore scripture and how it relates to our lives, and to forge lasting and meaningful relationships. With renewed grace, we hope to impact our families and communities in a meaningful way.

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is a process designed to bring members of the parish closer together with Christ. It is an avenue for spiritual growth and friendship. We have hosted over 40 renewal retreat weekends over the last 11 years here at St. Michael.

Men’s and women’s renewal weekends, given for parishioners by parishioners, take place each spring and fall. A team that has previously attended a CRHP weekend works together in prayer and love to provide a two day, one night (30 hours overall) renewal experience hosted here on campus. Attendees are invited to continue in a formation process that provides for deepened spiritual growth and fellowship.

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) begins with a spiritual Renewal Weekend designed to help you grow in your relationship with Christ and form Christian Community. Retreatants come from varied backgrounds and different points in their faith journeys, creating a rich and extraordinary experience. The weekend entails small group activities, personal prayer time, and reflections.  

Weekend retreats for Men and Women are held on separate weekends and hosted on-site at St. Michael facilities. All St. Michael parishioners, at least 18 years of age, are welcome to attend. The weekend experience is designed to support us in responding to Christ’s call and to encourage a deeper relationship with Him.
