Christ’s Peace House of Prayer warmly invites the faithful of the Archdiocese to take part in our 2026 Monthly Preached Retreats, offered throughout the year for spiritual renewal, deeper prayer, and encounter with the Lord. Each preached retreat begins on Friday evening with dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by an introduction to the retreat. Guests may arrive anytime on Friday to settle in before the retreat formally begins.
Throughout the weekend, retreatants are offered:
• Preached conferences centered on the retreat theme
• Guided prayer experiences
• Eucharistic Adoration (typically three times daily)
• Opportunities for Lectio Divina, the Examen, Morning and Evening Prayer, and the Rosary
• The Sacrament of Reconciliation (typically available Saturday with a visiting priest)
• Mass at the local parish (Saturday at 5:00 p.m. or Sunday at 9:00 a.m.)
Ample time is built in for personal prayer, reflection, and walking the peaceful grounds, which include wooded trails and outdoor shrines.

Private and group retreats may also be scheduled year-round. Christ’s Peace House of Prayer is an Archdiocesan retreat center located on 120 acres of rolling pastures and timberland in Easton, Kansas, about one hour from Kansas City, Lawrence, and Topeka.
