You are invited for dinner and a tour of St. Michael the Archangel Church with Fr. Aaron Waldeck on Thursday, March 5, from 6:30-8:15 p.m.
We ask that you register in advance so that we can plan for dinner. You can register HERE. The evening will begin in the St. Gabriel Room in the lower level of the church at 6:30 p.m.
If you have wondered about the architectural elements and items found in Catholic churches, this is a great opportunity to get better acquainted and ask questions.
Fr. Waldeck will explain such things as:
Why are there bowls of water at the entrances of every church?
What are the images that line the walls around the church?
What is the gold box at the front of the church?
Why is there a red candle always lit at the front of the church?
What is the meaning of the mural behind the altar?
